The use of hydrophobic corrugated cardboard: hydrophobic corrugated cardboard surface coated with low surface energy substances, such as polylactic acid (PLA), polyolefin, etc., so that water droplets on the surface of the cardboard to form a lotus leaf effect, not easy to penetrate.
Second, surface coating and lamination
Coating treatment: Coating a layer of special waterproof coating on the surface of carton, such as water-based waterproof coating, oil-based waterproof coating, etc., to form a waterproof layer. The coating treatment can be single-sided or double-sided, according to the demand choice.
Laminating process: cover the surface of carton with plastic film such as polypropylene, and use adhesive to bond it together after heating and pressurizing. After laminating, the surface of carton is bright, friction-resistant and has certain waterproof effect. The laminating process is divided into two types: pre-coating laminating and coating laminating, which can be selected according to the actual situation.
Structure design and reinforcement
Optimize structural design: Reduce the possibility of moisture intrusion from the gap through reasonable structural design, such as increasing the width of the carton's swing cover, strengthening the bottom and side structure.
Strengthen the moisture-proof treatment: add moisture-proof pads, desiccants and other auxiliary materials inside the carton to absorb and isolate external moisture. Set up waterproof strips or waterproof film at the bottom and sides of the carton to improve the waterproof performance.
Fourth, storage and transportation conditions
Keep dry and ventilated: During storage and transportation, keep the warehouse and means of transportation dry and ventilated, and avoid the carton being exposed to the humid environment for a long time.
Regular inspection and maintenance: Regularly check the waterproof and moisture-proof performance of cartons, and replace damaged or aged cartons in time.
